Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year 2022

As we enter the new year, let us all pray to be blessed with good karma, healthy mind, perform good deeds, be wise, attain peace, happiness and prosperity, remain in bliss &purity and share love with one another and all creatures of this world.

Every new year, resolutions are made and broken too. In this scenario, we are given a choice and an opportunity to liberate within us the freedom to be who we are and what we can be. Youcould have perhaps followed the path of over thinking, pursued habits, entertained impulsive anger, jealousy and desirousof a materialistic life too.Though there is nothing wrong in desiring and pursuing a materialistic life, I have a suggestion to make.

This year, WHY don’t you reset and focus on your goals from this very day and make a new beginning. All I am asking you is to commence a new beginning that will lead you to reveal positive thoughts and the hidden potential within oneself.

Letting go of the past would be easier and the future once embarked on this path will not be intimidating. You will live in the present, be conscious of every act while firm in the knowledge the universe is with you (and within you). There would also be infinite resources at your very command.

Though it may sound like climbing the Himalayas barefoot, it is as easy as walking on the banks of the River Ganges. One can effortlessly wade into this by just introspecting and meditating. The conscious gets tuned to the divine power with powerful positive thoughts taking over the mind. Self-doubts, sadness, negative thinking gets wiped out automatically, obstacles are seen as opportunities and a calm mind with patience trickles in as negative thoughts make a hasty exit.

As Swami Sivananda rightly says in his New Year message, “With concentration and meditation, with progressive devotion and prayer, with selfless service and advanced knowledge of Vedanta, a constant, unceasing, progressive evolution of human nature will evolve and keep pace.”

I once again wish you a happy new year and a new beginning too!

God Bless!
